M5 extensions are tailored to VAST stylus systems. Their diversity unites the material (length > 40 mm) and its unique processing: They are based on bending and torsion-resistant carbon fiber technology, which ranks higher than the metal solutions even in the lower price segment. With three available versions, ZEISS REACH CFX 1, CFX 3 and CFX 5, the extensions correspond to the accuracy level of the respective coordinate measuring machine.

CFX 1 is on par with extensions made of titanium or aluminum in terms of price, but performs significantly better than metal in terms of precision. CFX 3 is priced in the mid-range segment, with significantly higher accuracy than CFX 1 extensions. CFX 5 rounds off the portfolio and meets the highest technical demands. This quality is unsurpassed on the market. At the same time, the higher-quality extension can be used to achieve higher accuracy even with machines in the lower price segment. Or, to put it another way : high-quality ZEISS REACH CFX carbon fiber extensions prevent a downgrade in machine accuracy.
